Adelaide Steampunk Aetherfest

Thank you all for a great time over the Steampunk Aetherfest weekend. In less than five months, Adelaide Steampunk Aetherfest heralded the return for local steampunk celebrations.

I was fortunate to be asked to participate in Adelaide Steampunk Aetherfest, with another author talk, to sit on an author panel and be a judge for the costume parade (both days). (discuss what talk was about…. ) As the event theme was Carnivale.

Tea duelling returned to Adelaide. I was also asked to act as Tiffin Mistress (photo: Joan Stratford). Our winner, Meridith, has vowed to return next year to defend her title.

There were costume competitions, author panels, live music, merchants, workshops, dancing, and even a radio play. I also did a talk on the theme, Carnivale.

Can’t wait til next year, with much more planned for the schedule.
