16/17th July – Authors Writing Conference (Steampunk and Other ‘Punk’ Subgenres Panel).
I’ve been invited to sit on the writers’ panel. The title says it all, really. This panel is geared towards writers, and will be available to watch on youTube, as will all the panels and workshops.
Panel time: 16th July (US time) 5pm – 6pm Session #10, Writing Track / 17th July 6.30am (Adelaide time/ACST) It’s an early start for me here in Adelaide!
Guest Speaker, A. F. Stewart with Greg Pizzino, Crysta Coburn, M. Leigh Hood, Paul Hiscock, and Karen J. Carlisle. An author panel on the nature of the “punk” genres. What is the difference between steampunk, clockpunk, dieselpunk, cyberpunk, etc. with tips and tricks for writing these genres.
