I’ve been working on a second secret project for my upcoming end of year events: Book candles!
The idea has been mulling around in my brain since before lock down. But I was too chicken to spend the money and do the job. Thanks to my con buddy, Stephanie, I finally did it.
I have three scents – all related to my books:
- Lemon Butter – fresh scent of lemon for Aunt Enid’s award winning lemon butter (The Aunt Enid Mysteries)
- Otherworlds (lands of milk & honey) – a blend of honey, almond, milk and oatmeal (the closest I could find to honey) – evoking the worlds beyond ours mentioned in The Aunt Enid Mysteries and planned fantasy stories.
- Cosy Coffee – glorious scent of freshly roasted coffee, with a hint of vanilla and chocolate – for my cosy(ish) mysteries (Aunt Enid drinks her tea in teacups) and cosy fantasies.
